Streaming from iPad with FileZilla Server

Hello Everyone,
I'm running FileZilla version 0.9.44 and the latest version of VLC on my iPad mini. I connect to the server through "Local Network" and connect to the server.I look for the file I want to open and open it. I can't stream any videos from my iPad as the video plays for a second then closes.
