FRITZ!Box LiveTV on iPhone

Hello,

I have got problem with the VLC Player App (Version 2.2.2) on my iPhone (7.0.3). I’m trying to stream German Tv with liveTv from the FRITZ!Box (6.03). But after 2 minutes the streaming stoops and I don’t know why it happens. Is it possible that the vlc player does not support multicast streaming? I send an email, some days ago, to the fritz box support, but they can't help me. They sayer that the iPhone does not support multicast. But I think its only the vlc app who does not support multicast.

VLC for iOS is known to work well with Deutsche Telekom's T-Home offering. Regarding Fritz!Box LiveTV, this is the first time I hear about it ever and I lack a testing device or specifications how it actually works. "well, we are using multicast" is a bit vague if I may say so
