VLC 2.2.2 (iOS) -> No external subs (srt) over UPnP

Hello, guys!
First of all, thank you very much for the great work on the VLC for iOS.
I use and recommend VLC for everyone (on desktop and iOS).
When using UPnP (Serviio and Twonky), VLC isn't displaying external subtitles, like srt files (with the same name of the video file).
There is no button for select them. BUT when the same subtitle are inside an MKV container (using mkvtolnix), everything is ok (the button appears on the right side of the forward button and i can select the sub).
I'm using VLC 2.2.2 but the two previous versions also wasn't working.
I'm also using Serviio and/or Twonky as UPnP and on other apps the external subs are displayed ok, so the problem isn't the UPnP software.
I dont know if it is a bug or it doesn't support EXTERNAL subs ( *.srt ).
PLEASE add this function. There is no other FREE app with this function.
