Vlc 3.2.2 local network problem

Same issue here,

It only asks for a password and users name when tring to add a server.

on the old version you would go to "Local Network" and it would show you a list of visable servers/shared folders
now the list is blank saying "No Connection to local network" or "Looking for network shares"

but does not show my shared networks that were visable before the update.

I'm having a similar problem: VLC won't remember my SMB username, password and workgroup.

If I enter it, I can connect to my Windows 10 Samba shares but as soon as I close out and go back, the settings are lost.

I wonder if the problem is actually NOT a connection issue but a settings-save issue...

Issue is with the local settings on the iphone/ipad.

Go to settings on your apple device and select the vlc tab vlc and click to allow local network access
