Setting for "blending tracks"?

Hello all,

Is there a setting that will allow the occasional song to blend into the next as they do on the original album and I think the CDs as well? The best example I can give is the Abbey Road B side which has several of these, particularly toward the end of the songs. The way VLC is playing them there is a slight silence between these songs. I'd search the forum but I don't even know what to call it when songs do this.

you want "gapless playback", which might come in version 4 of VLC. So far, the feature is not present in current releases of VLC.

Thanks, Felix. I am so happy to have all my songs back that this doesn't bother me much. There are few instances of this in my collection. I appreciate your swift response.
