VLC Shortcut Keys on iPad & How To display onscreen keyboard

Hi folks

Using VLC on a new iPad. I will be ingesting an RTSP video feed.

At a minimum I would like to use the onscreen keyboard to START an STOP Recording of clips.

On a laptop this is easy, just use CTRL R

But on an iPad how do I easily bring up the onscreen keyboard and keep it there.

Also what would be the equivalent shortcut for RECORDING ?

We do not support recording streams on iPad and therefore no hotkey or button exists to do what you'd like to.
