Am I the only one?

Is there a way to open local files in the VLC app on iOS?

I used to be able to do this, but I can only assume it's been updated and that feature is no longer considered useful, since I can't see it anywhere.

It's the top item in the "Network" screen (between Playlists and Settings). I've love to see VLC have a separate tab at the bottom for local files since it really doesn't belong in its current location.
