Bookmark network stream

Under ”network -> open network stream” in the iOS iPhone app, is it possible to save network stream url’s as bookmarks?

I canno’t figure out how to do it.

Something like this, where the bookmarks would be the green lines:

Just play the stream. It will be added as part of the last 50 played streams exactly where you marked.

Im sorry to say, it does not

It plays fine (rtsp ip-Camera) but nothing is added below.

Its password protected (rtsp://user:pw@ip:port) if that has anything to do with it not beeing saved.

Is there some setting I need to enable?

hmm, we had a bug about a year ago where saving the locations failed when iCloud was disabled. To be honest, I never tried to save a rtsp stream, let a alone a password protected one. I'll try that.

Still having this problem - I can play a network stream on iOS VLC, but it is not added to the list to choose from and no other appparent way to save it as a bookmark. In fact I have an old network stream appearing in the list of bookmarks, but I no longer use the camera it links to.

This is on iPhone 12 pro max, iOS 17.5.1. iCloud is enabled on the iPhone.
