VLC Carplay playlist

Hi,
I have transferred my music to iPhone and via VLC app created playlist for each album (as I cannot play music from folders and standard categories as Album, Genre doesn't work for me).
Once I choose playlist in Carplay, songs play in order.
Everything works fine, except one thing: I don't see the songs / tracks in the playlist, therefore if I want to hear certain song, I have to keep pressing "next" button to find that song.

Is there any way, how to see the songs in the playlist in the Carplay?

I would also prefer if when a playlist was tapped that the individual tracks were shown instead of immediately starting to play.

We need to add a view for playlists (and albums) to the CarPlay appearance. This will come in a future update.

That’s awesome to hear that albums are being added. It’s much more in line with traditional listening experience in cars where you would be playing music by album (e.g. a retail CD, cassette, etc).

Albums (on metafata level) are bit tricky, especially if interpret adds bonus song from different album, therefore this song will not be a part of album.

The best way would be to play folder content (no app for car play in App Store can do it) or manage playlists in folders (possible in Apple music) to have playlist for each album and keep all playlists from same band in one folder and folders with different bands but same genre to keep in genre folder.

Yes, this is done for the forthcoming 3.5.0 release that is currently in beta.
