How to transfer all files to new phone

I recently got a new iphone and have a bunch of music files and playlists in VLC on my old iPhone. What is the best way to copy everything to the new phone? Do I have to upload / sync everything to icloud on the old phone and then copy it to the new phone? Is there an easier way or a way to automate this ?

You can enable the option to include VLC's data in your backup. When you restore your new device from that backup, all your content will be there.
