I've recently moved to an iPhone (13) after years of Android devices.
It's taking some getting used to, but seems OK.
I've managed to get VLC on the phone and it seems OK.
However, I use casting a lot. Casting TV seems to be OK from Prime etc.
Casting audio from VLC, the playback stops - usually after about 2 minutes.
If the screen stays on, showing 'Now playing on: [speaker name] it works fine. If you turn the screen off, and back on again it immediately shows an error message 'playback failed', even if playback continues a minute or two longer before stopping.
Is there a way to keep it playing while using the phone for other things or having the screen off?
I've turned on the debug mode - where can I find the error logs?
