VLC iOS 16.5.1 Issue

Before upgrading to iOS 16.5.1 I had no problem streaming MKV files from my iMac to VLC (v 3.4.5) on my iPad. Now after entering my SMB server name and tapping on connect VLC just sits there and grinds.

This is a weird problem but unlikely to be related to the iOS update. Does VLC discover the server correctly? Did you grant the permission in the iOS settings app for VLC to access devices on the local network?

Does VLC discover the server correctly? I am not sure, but I don’t think it does. The next screen shows only: CLARKSMAC:22. Normally I would expect to see the folders that I have defined to my SMB server on the Mac.
