when pausing and resuming audio it skips 1-2 seconds

Hi,

I use VLC on iOS (iPhone 12) to listen to audiobooks.
The problem is that when you pause and resume while listening, it skips 1-2 seconds (possibly due to fade-out and fade-in effects), so each time it requires you to rewind 10 seconds backwards which really slows you down and disturbs the flow of listening
I guess this issue hasn't been brought up yet because it's not quite noticeable with music/video but unfortunately it's very noticeable when listening to audiobooks.

Is it possible to fix it?

Hello,

This is a known issue, and unfortunately there is nothing we can currently do.
We will have to upgrade to VLC 4.0 in order to properly fix this issue, and we are currently working towards it.

In the meantime, the next 3.4.0 version will be released with a custom seek duration feature allowing users to select a smaller or greater seek duration value.
