VLC stops playing 40 min songs under iOS 15.6 on iPod

Hi,
We had a similar problem previously.
Devices running iOS 15.4 and VLC 3.3.7 would stop randomly in larger songs - this was resolved by updating to 15.5
Devices running iOS 15.5 and the previous version of VLC would stop randomly in larger songs - this was resolved by updating to VLC 3.3.7

The recent iOS 15.6 update with VLC 3.3.7 appears to have reintroduced this same error.
We manage a fleet of about 100 iPods (and growing).

This is a bit of an urgent issue at this time.

Does playback stop at the latest after two minutes after start? is the media stored locally or remote? Can you provide us with a debug log? (if I tell you how to create it)
