NFS support on iOS

I'm trying to connect to an NFS share with VLC on my iPhone/iOS, but I can't find a way to.

What is the status of NFS support on iOS?

If not in the releases, can it be enabled if VLC is compiled from source?

In fact, NFS is compiled right now, but not exposed in the UI on iOS. On Apple TV, it should work.

Is there an ETA for NFS in the app? If it's compiled into the app since about a year, is there a reason why it's not exposed in the UI at this stage? Thanks!

I know this is old but it’s the only place I’ve seen that expressly discusses NFS and iOS.

So I’ll just ask: any update/progress on this? Or is it just never going to happen? (I’m fine with the latter, I’d just like to know so I can maybe try to find another solution.)

I did the UI last summer, but it is not released so far because the version that includes it awaits other additions unrelated to NFS.

It was added but the update I discussed earlier literally was not released yet because of the complexity of other changes. We are currently uploading the screenshots to the App Store for review so it won't be long from now.
