.m3u playlist no longer working since iOS Update

Greetings to all! I have a TV channel program list which was created in VLC and has the suffix .m3u

I had this playlist of channels entered not itunes/VLC documents - the file was perfectly uploaded and I had great access across my iPad or iPhone to many international tv channels.

Since the new update, this feature does not work anymore..........I am happy to do a work around but to be honest, this is not 'progress' - lotsa love to anyone who can give me hint how to fix this?

Regrettably, you cannot fix this yourself. VLC misinterpreted the text encoding of the URLs in the last update. This is fixed in the update, that will be available shortly.
