Multiple Issues with v3.0.7

Postby mh19 » 29 Mar 2020 21:21

My VLC app just updated to v3.0.7 (345) on tvOs 13.4

1) Clicking on an empty folder (local network) causes immediate quit back to home screen
2) Artwork download not working
3) Highlighted selection blocks part of file name.

Found all three in the first 60 seconds of using the updated app. Same thing on both of my Apple TVs.

Thanks for the report.
1 and 2 are unexpected. We will check the logs as soon as they are coming in.

For 3, this is a known problem for some versions of tvOS that will be resolved shortly.

FYI, an update addressing all the three problems you found was just submitted to the App Store and will appear after review by Apple.

One more slight issue I've found: when attempting to disable the sub-tiltes, there's a UI glitch when scrolling up from the current default subtitle (like English); when trying to scroll up to "Disable", the disable option becomes partially or completely hidden above and clicking usually doesn't select it (after re-trying many times I can usually finally select it)

And on that subject, one very nice enhancement would be a setting in the app to default any built-in sub-titles to "disabled" so they must be manually turned on to show on screen.
