Seek / Jump / Skip on AppleTV tvOS 12

Is there a way to seek ahead or back a few seconds on tvOS 12?

I'm tapping the right & left touch areas of the ATV remote. The progress bar appears, along with a circular arrow icon for forward / back 10 seconds but the video doesn't seek ahead or behind.

I've tried a few other control options such as swiping, clicking and combinations of those + tapping, no luck seeking so far though; the video keeps playing at regular speed.

Is the seek feature available in tvOS builds?
