3.1.9 Cannot connect to Google Drive

Hi,

I got an issue on my ipad mini (ios 9.3.5) as I'm unable to connect myself to google drive through the application.
My version of VLC is the 3.1.9, which is the latest I guess.

What happens when you try to?

After logging in and clicking "allow" it shows me the message "safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid" then brings me to the google search engine. When I click done in the top left, it is still showing me the login link.
