OneDrive streaming not working properly

I have music in my OneDrive account and when I stream from folders stored in OneDrive this always happens:

-First song plays normally.
-When the next song in folder plays, and the phone is locked with screen off, the song is silent, nothing is heard even though the song is playing.
-Upon lighting up the screen with power button the sound comes back.

iOS is 12.1.2 and VLC is 3.1.5

I observe the same issue after upgrading to iSO 12 on iPhone SE. Any fix for this?
Also, a few days now I am not able to list files from OneDrive, able to login though. Is anyone else experiencing the same? Have uninstalled and reinstalled VLC app but no joy.

Same problem for me on iOS 12.1.1 on iPad Air and iPhone 6s so I've moved my Music back to Dropbox as a workaround.

Same problem here too. Temporary quick fix: Now i download video with OneDrive app to VLC-folder and then watch video with VLC (OneDrive app show some videos also). I hope problem solve quickly. I try relogin. Login works but not show folders and files.

Also, Automatically play next item does not work with Google Drive or Dropbox. Used to work with OneDrive. Does anyone else having this problem too?

Another app also can not get files from Onedrive after login, and throws and error from Microsoft . Onedrive API has changed and they need to use the need API. I guess this must be the reason.

This should be fixed for the next release!

1. List items from OneDrive
2. Play next time when phone screen is off/locked
3. Automatically play next item for Google Drive and DropBox and all supported cloud services

Same issue with OneDrive, was still working properly on Jan 3.
The issue also happend with Box btw

I agree. VLC isn’t only mystery change what appear same time. Also windows 10 explorer doesn’t work properly anymore. OneDrive file contex menu missing ”save drive space” etc. Now i use OneDrive web interface if i like save file only OneDrive saving laptop SSD space.

Yeah I found out this morning too. Looks like MS fixed from there end as VLC is still the same version.
Play next item when phone screen is off/locked is still a problem. It appears song is playing in the background but no sound until screen is on again.

I launched the iOS OneDrive App and a message appeared at the bottom of the screen "Your Account has a problem. Tap here for details".
So I tapped and logged out and logged in again in OneDrive iOS app.
The message disappeared and then when I went to VLC app->Cloud Services->OneDrive, I could see all my files again.

Mine worked this morning and during the day. VLC now not listing items like before. I tried your way too with no avail.

Many thanks, downloading from iOS app store now. Was using Dropbox as a workaround.

Apologies if I'm not in the correct area but am wondering how to stream video/music files from OneDrive (without actually D/L file) on both android phone & Windows 11 if that's possible?
On the phone yes I've figured out how to play one file at a time, then "play with another..." VLC set as default, but can't figure out the network settings to save my life on either, have chased down a few searches in the documentation but unable to find answer -
