Does VLC 3.1.2 for IOS support chromecast?

In VLC website, it says chromecast has been added to VLC player recently. However, I couldn't figure out how to do chromecasting with VLC on my ipad. I couldn't find a chromecast button or something alike. Is VLC 3.1.2 for IOS chromecast enabled? If so, how to chromecast with VLC on my ipad? (I have already installed google home and paired my ipad with chromecast dongle. I can also chromecast youtube successfully.) Thank you.

My VLC version is 3.1.2 which is running on my ipad air 2 with IOS 11.4.1

I’ve been asking about Chromecast on another thread, but no reply. When I try to connect Chromecast to my TV it says on my iPad, Chromecast connected, but 9 times out of 10 the video doesn't appear on my TV. On the odd occasion the video appears on my TV is disappears very very quickly after a minute or two. Can someone please reply and give some advice as I’m not technical with iPads or computers.

Problem was resolved by reinstalling the app. Thank you VLC team for making such amazing app.
