New User Sorry to be annoying, but I need help

Postby Alfiala » 07 Jul 2018 22:30

I just loaded up a hard drive full of MP4 movies and connected it to my router. The VLC app sees the drive, but it asks for a user name and password. I added my email address and router password. Not sure if that is what I should use. It says the folder is empty.
Is there something different that I should be using for a password and username?

Each of the movies is in it's own folder, should I extract them outside the folder?

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.for any assistance.
Al

In your router you have a configuration for the NAS/SMB shares. It has a different password.
