TV only playing sound when using VLC app with apple TV

Hey guys, i'm having a bit of a break down here.

When i use airplay from the VLC app (ios) with my apple tv, my TV only plays the sound.
Everything looks normal up until i select my apple TV for playing, and then only playing sound.

My apple TV is either 2. or 3. gen...

PLEASE HELP!!!!! I AM DESPERATE!!!!!

Regrettably, you need to enable AirPlay mirroring. Otherwise, you will not get any video as VLC currently does support the proper way to output video via AirPlay.
