Can’t Fit/Stretch Video To iPhone X Display Since Update

Hi there, previously I was able to make the video fill the whole screen on the iPhone X but since my app updated a while back it no longer works and I’m stuck with black bars on the side. When I try to fit to screen it stretches up and down which only distorts the image.

Am I doing something wrong here or is this a known issue?
