"Empty" folders agian

Postby evo.smith » 29 Nov 2017 09:28

Hey, I have been using VLC for ATV for a year now and had no problems connecting it to my airport extreme using SMB settings. Since this last update, I have not been able to reconnect with the app. I have had to us airplay through my Mac any suggestions.

Same here, things I’ve tried:
- appletv restart
- time capsule restart
- vlc app restart
- deleting and adding again

Any advice is appreciated!

When I have the "empty folder" problem, it's not with VLC but with the SMB service I'm using. When I get the "Empty Folder" message, I stop and restart the SMB service on my OSX Server, then relaunch VLC and it works fine. I'm planning on updating my server but haven't had the chance yet.

Yes, I have tried that but no luck. I was working great up until this last update.
