WiFi Sharing - Not working on Mac

hi guys

Apologies if posted before however i had previously used VLC app on my old iPhone and added files via my Mac Book via Wifi Sharing. I have since got a new iphone and i cannot seem to access the wifi sharing page when i log in via my mac book. I have toggled on the Sharing via wifi tab on the App and both devices connect to the same wifi network. Please can someone help!? Ive tried searching for help online but not had any joy so any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. P

What version of VLC-iOS and device are you currently using?
I'm having no issue transferring files from my MacBook to my iPhone.

Tested on: VLC-iOS 2.8.5(285.3) - iOS 11.1

I have an iPhone with iOS 11.1. And a mac book with os sierra and trying to use VLC sharing via the web browser version on iPhone is Version: 2.8.4 (284.1).

i dont know why you are having this problem. my iphone is working fine.
