"Empty Folder" on Apple TV and IOS 11 when trying to view DLNA server "Playback"

I run "Playback" on my Mac .... its an old DLNA server no longer available ..... BUT it works great and I have an existing license.

BOTH My TVs can see and view my server and its files (Samsung)
BOTH My DVD Players can see and view my files (Sony BluRay Player)
VLC App on both tvOS and iOS both see the server, but will not display any folders or files - tvOS says "Empty Folder" but I assure you, its NOT an empty folder.

Suggestions?
