RTSP Stream from DVR?

Hi I can successfully stream from my CCTV DVR using the url: rtsp://192.168.1.10:8854/live0.264 using the Mac OS X Desktop VLC app.

I am now trying to open the same stream on my iPhone using the latest VLC iOS app, but it won't play.
My iPhone, the Mac, and the DVR are all on the same network.

When I enter the URL it just gives a blank screen. It does not ask me for the username / password like the desktop app does, but it doesn't give an error either.
I'm entering the URL under "Network Stream" on the vlc app.

**SOLVED**
I included the username / password in the URL like this:
rtsp://user:password@192.168.1.10:8854/live0.264 and that worked
