MRL File Error

I air dropped some mp3 files from a mac onto my iPhone and opened them VLC.

Occasionally I get an MRL file error and VLC says that is unable to read the file however this can be fixed by restarting the app or going to the next song and going back.

This can become quite annoying is there anyway of removing this?
