Sound problem on iOS

Postby JiPaul B. » 03 Oct 2016 19:33

Hello everybody,

I've installed VLC on my iPhone 4 with iOS 9.3.5
The first video that I tried, all was OK.
But then for the (allmost) all the next videos I have a sound problem : it goes up and down cyclicly (with a period of about 1/3 of second) and it seems to me that there is a delay between video and sound and this delay increases with time.

All the videos I've tested have been converted from H264 to mp4 on Mac OS X with ffmpeg (allways with the same parameters).
All these videos are OK on VLC for Mac OS X.
If I test again the first video (on my iPhone) it is OK.

What do you think about this problem ?

JiPaul.

Hello everybody,

Thanks a lot for your answers ;-)
Ok I've resolved the problem. Just changing the audio that was previously just copied from the original videos (coming from TNT or Freebox).
It was MPEG Audio layer 1/2 (mp4a) 48000Hz 192kb/s. Now I convert it to MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a) 48000Hz and it works. I thought it was the same. But the former one don't works on VLC for iOS.
