ROLF vs C4TV?

Postby progtastic » 08 Sep 2016 06:41

I have a number of mkv files encoded with h264 with the suffix c4tv which are playing fine on apple tv but recently the suffix has changed to rolf and they won't play on apple tv but play fine on my mac. I'm not sure what the difference between rolf and c4tv is.

looking at the codecs all seem very similar h264-mpeg4-avc(part10)(avc1), mpeg mac (mp4a) etc

one difference is audio has 'sbr extension'

frame rate is 50 but i have other files with a 50 frame rate that work
