VLC in IPAD not playing the next video automatically

Hello everyone, just joined this VideoLan forums.
I have VLC ver 2.7.7 (277.2)in my Ipad.
I have added a few videos for my baby to watch in the car while driving, but the videos wont play automatically one after another.
The "Automatically play next item" option is ON in the settings.
Can anyone help me?

Just like to say I have the same problem. It appears not to work.

The feature is not enabled for local files as long as those just sit in the media library. Create a folder to group the items and then it will work

That worked. Creating the folder was easy, moving the files into the folder was not intuitive....Eventually got it done...Thank you.
