Timer (and other displays) disappears in a few seconds

Hi,

I'm using v 2.7.7 on both iPhone and iPad and can find no way to stop the countdown timer (as well as Play, Pause, etc.) from disappearing four seconds after hitting Play. I cannot, therefore, see the times in the recording where certain things occur (e.g., I'm trying to determine where chords in a song appear based on what time in the playback they occur). Can anyone help? I've explored everything I can find in menus, to no avail.

There is no option to disable the auto-hiding of the UI as of yet.
