VLC ios crashes when streaming Box music files

I wanted to use VLC to streams music files in my Box account. I logged into my Box account from my iphone 6s. I can access mymusic folder. I can tap it and see the folders beneath it containing the songs. But when I tap on a folder that contains songs the folder does not open. If I exit out of VLC and come back in, my music folder appears twice and then VLC crashes. Any ideas?

Euh, no. Weird. How many music files are stored in that folder? Does the folder name contain spaces?

The music folder has about 50 sub folders with about 12-15 files each (each subfolder is an album). There are 2 MP3 files in the music folder. I can start to play one, but then it crashes if I hit Back to return to my file list.

I downloaded Vlc to my iPad and tried it there. It did the same thing. Both are on iOS 9.2.

I downloaded the VLC update today to my iphone. I didn't see any mention of a fix in the release notes, but I see the problem is still there. Let me know if I can be of any help. Thanks.
