VLC 2.6.2-2.6.4 unread+new labels bug

Hi, since version 2.6.2 I see that the new/unread labels in folders and tv shows seems to be broken.
Files are always detected as unread and the new label is shown when the file is new and then again when the file is finished.
During the first normal run of the file it seems that the label shows the time, but on a second run it almost never does.
I tested with both 2.6.2 and 2.6.4 both app store versions on iphone5 and ipad2 with ios 8.1.2 and now on 8.4 (updated both)
