Folder in ver. 2.6.2

Hi all,

How do i transfer movies to a folder i just created on my iPad (Running iOS 8.4) ?! I tried to hold down the screen, and move the movie to the folder, but i can't. I only transfer movies over WiFi because i can't find VLC Player in my iTunes, but the WiFi solution works great, other than i can't put movies in folders created on the iPad.

So what is the idea with folders if you can't put movies in them?

I think we broke some corner case on iPad so drag and drop creation of folders does not work as expected. I forwarded the information provided to the developer working on folders and we hope to come up with a solution in subsequent releases.

For the meantime, you can use the 2nd way of moving files to folders in VLC. Enable edit mode (top right corner), select the media you want to move and click the "Folder" icon on the bottom left. This will reveal the existing folders to choose from, so select them to move your media or touch the folder button again to create a new one.
