MKV file with MPEG Audio (MP3) not working

Hi all,

I tried to play a .mkv file with VLC for iOS ver 2.3.0, video and subs come out fine but there is no audio at all.

Mediainfo tells me the audio stream is MPEG audio (MP3).

Any help here?
