Play next video automatically

Hi

I have a question regarding if VLC can play videos one after another in an automatic way. I mean, I would like the application to continue playing the next video without me having to open the file... This is very useful when playing videos for kids in the car. I haven't been able to find a way to do this, any ideas?

+1 for playing mp3s continously...i am using older version 2.6.6 (266.1) for 6.1.6 ipod. Might it be that we two here are not capable of importing the files right? I am simply pushing them into the VLC folder...maybe that is not enough.

This German thread says it is not yet possible. Thanks to everyone who will make a VLC fork for playing music continuously.

I solved it with appstore app called Rushplayer Lite. Not free like VLC but succeeds in playing music continuously . Gets mounted (Documents on (your) ipod >> Rushplayer Lite / Documents /, put the music here by cable , I failed with mass uploading per Wifi/FTP server) on the stock ROM, updated Ipod touch 4g...sorry for offtopic
