Keep connecting from a stream line

Hello

I have a question about keeping a connection to a network stream. My setup as below:

I have a Macbook working as a streaming media server and I set it up to stream my video over http.

There are 2-3 ios device (iphone, ipad) connecting to this server as client to receive streaming video by using open network stream function in VLC.

Everything works well without any issue. However, every time when my Macbook (media server) finishes a video and goes to next one, all of my client devices can't keep the connection to the server. It automatically disconnects to the server, and i need to go over all of my devices to reconnect them.

Therefore, my question is how I can let my devices keep connecting to the server. Is there any way to help me on this?
