Subtitles on iPad missing

Postby juggernut » 07 Feb 2014 15:09

Hi,
When I connect to my local network drive via VLC on iPad and stream a video I don't get the subtitles that are in the same folder and identically named as the avi/mp4/mkv video file.

Any ideas what to do to get the subtitles working?

Thanks!
Søren

Regrettably, VLC for iOS does not support external subtitles for media retrieved from remote devices, be it via UPnP or FTP. We are looking into it, but I can't promise when this will be implemented.
