Why in version 3.6.5 for android is it no longer possible to increase the volume above 100%?

Can you go to the three dot menu to the right of the video player, and click on "Control settings" ? The setting should be "Audio-boost", check that it isn't disabled ?

There is no such setting

Did you try that while the video was playing or from the video list ? This menu is accessible only from the video player while playing.

Thanks . I found the setting but when I try to go beyond 100% the volume is reset to 100%

Oh, sorry about this, it was fixed a few weeks ago (here -> https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc- ... uests/2022), you won't have the issue in the next version.
We are currently rolling it out.
