Shuffle not turning off when playing an album

I don't know if this is intended, but here goes:

When I turn on shuffle, it shuffles my queue. No issues there. However, when I go to an album and press "Play" in the overview or at the top in the detail view, it still plays with shuffle, even though thereis a separate button to start shuffling the album.
So I have to open up the queue, turn off shuffle, close the queue and press play again.

I'm on a Huawei P30 with Android/EMUI 12 and use VLC version 3.5.7

When you press play on the album, is the playback stopped? If not and if the current playback is in shuffle mode, it's wanted to keep shuffling. You can long tap the play/pause icon to stop the playback in between.

When I press play on the album, the queue is replaced and the album starts playing, but with shuffle active. When I long press play/pause (which I didn't know was possible, interesting), playback stops, and when playing a new album shuffle is still on.
I think in both cases it should turn off.
