3.7.0 files mislabeled in /vlc-android/nightly-armv7/ and siblings

I've read that we are now on 3.7.0. But in Nightly, the APK filenames still have 3.6.0. Beta-6 of 7-Oct wrapped around to Beta-1 the next night (and are now up to Beta-2). Wasn't going to re-download until the first of the month so I don't know how they identify themselves in More > About.

We have just released a 3.5.7 but this was done to be able to start releasing again on the store (it doesn't have any new features relative to the old 3.5.4 except compatibility with android 14), and it it not based on the latest code that we have which is the 3.6.0 Beta 2.
Nightlies are based on the latest state of the code which is why they are still using 3.6.0 Beta X.
Also yes, we made the choice to go back to Beta 1, and now Beta 2 as we were not able to release these previous betas, and thought it would confuse Beta Testers to start at Beta 8. Though this is confusing for people using the nightlies, we do apologies for this.

What's confusing about Beta 8? Does testing software use octal notation? It isn't confusing if people cite the Nightly date when reporting bugs - but we do now have two different things calling themselves Beta 2.

Both of the "Beta 2" have different version code. So no worry for distinguish them.
