FLAC support broken?

Hello,
VLC on my Samsung S20FE has recently updated to the version 3.6.0 beta 2, and since then some of I can't listen to some of the flac files in my collection.
They have a metallic sound and seem to clip. The problem is also apparent in the 3.6.0 beta 2 nightly from 2024-10-16.
I tried disabling replay gain, changing every settings in the audio section and disabling hardware acceleration, but nothing does.
The files in question are the ones from the Animal Crossing New Leaf set available on archive.org (search "animal crossing new leaf OST archive.org" on Google and it should be available once it has recovered)
It happens on all 200 of the files, and I doubt 200 files are corrupted. They played fine on the old version (presumably one from the 3.5 series, but I can't know for sure), and on desktop.
I have other FLAC files that work perfectly fine.
Thank you,
