Brightness and Volume sliding gestures

When i try to change brightness or volume by "edge sliding gestures" it doesn't work on the edges. But it works closer to center. My display has 21:9 aspect ratio but it looks like gestures works only on "16:9 part of display". If this is the way it should behave, then I am sorry. I am using 3.6.0 beta 2 with Android 12 on Xperia 5 II.
