VLC player subtitle shadow issue (Weird subtitles outline)

I’m experiencing an issue with VLC player on my Sony XF9005 Android TV. Whether I watch a video from USB or through the network using the Samba protocol, the subtitles, as shown in the following link screenshots, appear with a shadow or outline.

VLC player version is 3.5.6
However, this issue doesn’t occur with all videos, as shown in the attached screenshot where there is no problem. Additionally, when I use MX Player on the same TV, the issue with subtitles does not appear.
I also have a Google 4K Chromecast at home, and when I use VLC on it, I do not encounter this subtitle shadow issue either. (the same VLC version: VLC player version is 3.5.6)
Could you help me understand where this issue might be coming from?
