Streaming Audio from Android to Windows 10

Hi all.

I wasn't sure where to put this given that it's a question that involved two different operating systems. If this needs to be moved or posted elsewhere, please let me know.

My basic question is, how can you stream audio played from VLC on an Android device to VLC on a Windows 10 PC on the same local network?
I tried playing around with the android app and adding a new stream, and in the settings for the Windows app, but I don't know exactly what I'm doing.
The best I could see on the Windows app was "Open Network Stream" from the media tab, but that would obviously mean a stream will have to have been started from the android app and i'm not sure how to do that.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to get started?

@RiftCygnus this is not something supported out off the box. Not sure if that exists but if you can find an app making your Windows device act as a chromecast, you could use it to cast your audio to your PC.

Or the other way around. Let VLC on Windows play media on your device on your LAN
