VLC for Android TV - How do I: auto play video files in folder

On VLC for Android TV 3.5.4:

when I play an audio file in a folder which contains other audio files, the files are automatically played one after another.
when I play a video file in a folder which contains other video files, playback does not continue to the next file in the folder.

How do I get VLC (on Android TV 3.5.4) to automatically continue to the next video file in a folder?
