vlc running through android auto

I have vlc on my samsung s22+ and it works great except for one small issue which may, or may not, be related to vlc. When I'm in my 2010 f150 truck the s22 is plugged into a Pioneer head unit. It all works fine except that the truck has a small display at the top of the dash which shows temps and messages. It also shows the info for the song currently playing, title and artist. The issue is that it show the song Title and artist but also the number on the song and the total number of songs. IE: Title 502/1139 Artist. I'm guessing that it's the track info. Is there any way to prevent it from showing that and only show the title and artist?
