Subtitles turn on automatically

Postby Guss72 » 24 Jul 2024 03:52

I have VLC subtitles auto on turned OFF. But for some reason, whenever I put a video on pause and my android box goes to sleep mode. When I wake it up, the subtitles turn on. Why? How do I prevent this, with the Subtitles setting already turned off.

Could you please share some logs? Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs. Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).

Sorry for the very late reply. Just saw your post. Couldn’t find Advanced at first. Turns out it’s hidden out of screen at the very bottom. Hit OK just to see what would happen, and Advanced came up. Unfortunately, for whatever reason this new Android 13 box lets me access my internal storage, but it won’t let me copy files anywhere. Normally you would just hold down OK button, and options would come up. Nothing happens here. I don’t know how else to share the log with you.
